A Bloody Good Record

As a young man, spending my time trying to decode the double helix, I
realized that I wasn’t as popular with the girls as my musician friends and
no where near as famous. So I picked up the trusty 6 string and turned my
life to the pursuit of happiness and sonic bliss.

Being a musician led me to meeting many others of all styles and I rejoiced
in their company and they mine and we made beautiful music.

This obsession led to the purchasing of many and varied pieces of recording
equipment and instruments including Pro tools HD3, Apogee converters, Crane
Song monitoring controller (JBL, Yamaha and Tanoy monitors) Pre’s from
Daking, API, Great River, Neve, Universal Audio, Focusrite. EQ’s from Great River, Daking, ADM. Manley and
Radial DI’s. Compressors from Daking, Purple, API, Distressors and SPL.
Dangerous summing. Microphones from AKG, Neumann, Shure, Blue, Sennhiser,
Royer and so on. A 1970’s birch Yamaha custom drum kit. Amplifiers from
Fender, Marshall, Mesa Boggie. Keyboards, soft synths, Plug-in’s blah blah.

With each new day brings a new artist and each is as special as the last and
the “song” is always the master as we do our utmost to take each to nirvana
using any and all of the tools at our disposal.

And we all laugh and laugh at the often childish humor that is offered in
large doses to any client while relaxing in other world vibe and ambiance
that is A Bloody Good Record.

All this while keeping within budget (anyone’s).
